Look at the light in your room. For a hundred years, most light came from fire. People burned coal, gas and oil. This made electricity.
The wind makes electricity too. No fire is needed. A wind turbine is like a tall sail. A solar panel is like a roof that works.
In April 2026, something new happened. Wind and sun made more electricity than gas. They made 22 percent. Gas made 20 percent. A group called Ember counted this.
Wind and sun are growing fast. They made 13 percent more than last year. In 2025, they covered all the new need for electricity.
Nobody had a party. But the people who count noticed. Look at your light again. Some of it is the wind now.
