The Tigers Came Back

On 8 October 2026 a report on the world's wildlife counted the losses, and also the animals that came back: among them 2,500 more wild tigers than in 2010.

Level A1 · Beginner

It is October 2026. A big report looks at the wild animals of the world. Many are in danger. But some come back.

In 2010 there are about 3,200 wild tigers. In 2025 there are about 5,700. People protect the forests and stop the hunters.

The green sea turtle comes back too. People protect the beaches and the eggs.

It takes many years. It takes many people. The report has a name: The Science of Hope.
