Back at Sepang, Verstappen Wins Again

On Sunday 4 October 2026 the rain kept Formula 1 waiting for an hour and a half, and then Max Verstappen won at Sepang, the track where he had last won nine years before.

Level A1 · Beginner

It is Sunday, 4 October 2026. Formula 1 is at Sepang in Malaysia. It rains a lot. The race starts late.

Max Verstappen starts first. Two Mercedes cars pass him. Then he passes them. He wins for Red Bull, his first win this year.

Kimi Antonelli is second. George Russell is third, but his car stops. So Lewis Hamilton is third for Ferrari.

Verstappen knows this track. He wins here in 2017 too. Next Sunday the race is in Singapore.
