A Tray of Colors

One oven tray, whatever colorful vegetables the fridge offers, and thirty minutes of doing something else.

Level A1 · Beginner

When the week is busy, dinner should be simple. This dinner needs one oven tray, a knife, and colorful vegetables.

Choose red peppers, orange carrots, green zucchini, and a purple onion. Or use any vegetables you have.

Cut the vegetables into pieces. Put them on the tray. Add olive oil and salt. Mix with your hands.

Put the tray in a hot oven. Wait thirty minutes. You can do something else while you wait.

Take the tray out. The vegetables are soft and a little brown at the edges. Dinner is ready, and the oven did almost all the work.
