Morning Light

A man chasing better sleep discovers the fix for his nights was waiting in his mornings.

Level A1 · Beginner

Rafael had a sleep problem. He thought it started at night. He tried warm milk. He tried heavy curtains. He tried no phone in bed. Nothing worked.

A doctor asked him a new question: "Tell me about your mornings."

Rafael's room had thick curtains. He woke up in the dark. He did not go outside until later.

The doctor said: "Your body needs morning light. It tells your body: the day has started." Rafael started drinking his coffee outside. Just ten minutes, every morning.

After two weeks, Rafael slept better at night. The fix for his nights began every morning.
